AIGA Central Pennsylvania’s Leadership is 100% powered by volunteers dedicated to making Central Pennsylvania an amazing place for design. Current Board Members

Bri Piccari – President – Designer & Front End Developer at Industrial Resolution. Bri has served the chapter for three years, serving in the roles of Communications Chair & Vice President before becoming the first female President of the chapter in November 2015. As a board member, she has worked with the AIGA Women Lead initiative, and helped create the foundation the chapter stands on today. She is a strong advocate for gender equity and diversity and inclusion, as well as motivating and influencing design in the Central Pennsylvania area, and creating community here. Outside of AIGA, she is currently working towards her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification & hosts a women in tech meetup, Shine Lancaster. She can be reached at president@centralpa.aiga.org.

 

Frederick YocumFrederick Yocum – Treasurer – Currently engaged in freelance graphic design with expertise in digital and print, he also works part-time as Photography Coordinator for Mennonite Central Committee where he exercises his love of building technical systems and visual story telling. He trained as a fine artist and has exhibited in venues in the Britain and the U.S. before developing a career in graphic arts.  He can be reached at treasurer@centralpa.aiga.org.

 

Jim CastanzoJim Castanzo – Education Chair – Creative consultant and partner at Godfrey in Lancaster and an adjunct faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. Jim earned a Fine Art Degree at Wilkes University and did post graduate work at Syracuse University. RyaanRyaan Beck  Membership Chair – Ryaan is an UX/UI Designer and Developer at Williams Forrest, where he builds & designs interactive web experiences. He graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Graphic + Interactive Design. He has never fallen off his bike and is a Central Pennsylvania native. Lindsay Derecola – General Board Member – Senior Designer at Godfrey. Lindsay graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design. She is spontaneous and curious, unafraid of possibilities, poised for solutions, and desires to innovate the world around her. Lindsay is passionate about community service and is driven by making an impact on the lives of others. She is fueled by coffee, cats, and creativity. Advisory Board

Joshua Buckwalter – Past President – Joshua served the AIGA Central Pennsylvania chapter for over 5 years in various leadership positions, ranging from Programming Chair to President to Design for Good.

Doug Logan – Past President – With nearly 10 years experience in the web and interactive space, Doug is the web and interactive director at Inovat in Elizabethtown, PA.

Joe Terry – Adviser, Founding Member – Joe originally served on programming committee and currently a works as a senior account manager with Neenah Paper.

Joe Wagner – Founding Member, Past President of the Central PA Chapter and Past President of AIGA Baltimore – Joe is currently Manager of Business Development for HBP, Inc. and serves on the Board of the American Marketing Association in Baltimore.
