AIGA advances design as a professional craft, strategic advantage and vital cultural force. As the largest community of design advocates, we bring together practitioners, enthusiasts, and patrons to amplify the voice of design and create the vision for a collective future. We define global standards and ethical practices, guide design education, enhance professional development, and make powerful tools and resources accessible to all.

It’s your chapter.
In July 2012, in light of changes occurring nationally and within chapters across the country, the AIGA Central PA board and volunteers drafted and affirmed their commitment to a new mission statement and strategic visions as the guiding principles for their actions as community stewards.AIGA Central PA, like every other chapter, is representative of the face of design in our region to the rest of the country. This new mission is not only intended to be instructive to current leadership and volunteers, it also signals an opportunity for every design advocate in the region to help shape the dialogue, happenings and future of the profession. It is only logical that we should all share in the process.

Together we can create a place where design thrives.
