Typothecary Letterpress welcomes you to spend a few hours getting your hands dirty while digging around the letterpress studio. Play around with printing from polymer plates, wood type, metal type, and vintage cuts on a Vandercook to create something fun and unique that will look great (in your home)!
This workshop will give attendees the opportunity to learn about and become more familiar with various letterpressing techniques and equipment. Attendees get the chance to practice printing with pre-created plates, textures and patterns from Megan's collection at the shop.
All materials need to learn & print from Megan's collection, as well as lunch, are included in ticket price.
After a visit to the local Heritage Press Museum and a lot of training up and down the east coast, Typothecary Letterpress was established in 2011. Megan’s background in graphic design makes letterpress printing an ideal accompaniment to her services. While offering social, business and artistic printing, she is able to create a wide variety of printed goods!
