2010 AIGA Central PA Student Portfolio Review
April 10th, 2010
Sponsored by: Jeremy Drey Photography
SHOW ME YOURS? Really? Come on now, we’re talking about this year’s annual student portfolio review, what else would we be talking about? “Show Me Yours” is a student-only event designed to bring together students, educators and local professional designers to discuss the transition from school to the graphic design profession (a.k.a. “the real world!”) Unlike the feedback your roommate and mom give you, the input you’ll get at “Show Me Yours” will help you create a stronger book. This is your chance to meet the people you are up against in the job market and get advice from the pros who do the hiring.
What to Bring & Wear
A résumé, your portfolio with 7-10 pieces and an open mind. Digital work may be shown on your personal laptop…don’t forget to charge your battery!
Remember, this isn’t a casual trip to the mall with your friends so don’t forget to dress to impress. Just treat this as you would a real job interview!

I always look forward to this event. I missed it last year but I will definitely be there this year!
