This month’s community meeting on Aug. 6 was largely focused on updates for our upcoming programming (with a dash of updates on social media and sponsorship efforts).
We’re excited to officially announce our first speaker of the season: Matt Kelly from ZURB, the design company behind Foundation (a leader in the responsive design movement that’s sweeping the web). We’re super excited about this event and think you should be too.
ZURB has worked with the likes of Facebook, eBay and Yahoo!, and they’ll be bringing their expertise in building beautifully designed products to our chapter Oct. 3. If you’re interested in getting involved as a volunteer (hey, it comes with free admission!), contact Tim McKenna. Plus, be sure to keep your eyes open for a special announcement about what else is going on for this event!
Our September Coffee Talk on Kern and Burn is gaining traction, so register in advance (we’re even working on bookmarks for those of us who love print). And our last Liquid Courage of the summer will be Aug. 22—register in advance and your first drink is on us. We’re testing a theory about the effect of alcohol on registrations. It’s all very scientific.
Want to get in on the fun? Join us for our next Community Meeting Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. as a Google Hangout.
